Next Dizzee album to come out on XL
he next Dizzee Rascal album, entitled 'Showtime', will
be released in the UK on September 6 and in the US on
September 14.
'Showtime' will be released by XL Recordings themselves,
who have set up a US office here in the building with
us. It's a great record, and we with them the best of
luck with it.

on national TV
This morning (Tuesday, March 23rd), Dizzee Rascal appeared
on ESPN2's 'Cold Pizza'
show.
On Friday, April 2nd, you can see him on NBC's 'Last
Call With Carson Daly'.

Dog showcase
Of course Dizzee is playing headline shows in SF and LA
next week, but the big deal is the Murder
Dog showcase at South By Southwest. Check out the
lineup -- and get there early.

TV appearances
Dizzee will return to US network television on Wednesday,
March 24 on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly show, preceded
on Tuesday morning with an appearance on ESPN 2's "Cold
Pizza". I don't know if Darryl Dawkins is still on the
latter program, but either way, you now have a reason
to bother tuning in.

As the press acclaim & airplay continues to build for
'Boy In Da Corner', Dizzee Rascal is about to make his
North American live debut this week, with a Thursday Feb.
5 appearance at Toronto's Mod Club. He'll be in NYC this
Saturday, Feb. 7 at Volume, and forthcoming on Feb. 10
is Dizzee's U.S. network TV debut on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel
Live".
We can also confirm that Dizzee is on the bill for
the Coachella Valley
Music Festival, Indio, CA on May 2.

Matador Records and XL
Recordings are pleased to announce that we will
jointly be releasing the acclaimed debut album by Dizzee
Rascal, 'Boy In Da Corner' in the US this January.
18 years of age and hailing from East London, Dizzee's
unique hybrid of hip-hop, drum & bass and UK garage
coupled with his explosive real-life tales of street
crime, poverty, sex and guns, are a combination unlike
any MC we've heard --- underground or over. 'Boy In
Da Corner' has been a major UK hit since its release
last summer, and this past September, Dizzee was awarded
the UK's Mercury Music Prize, beating out the likes
of Coldplay, Radiohead and the Darkness. Dizzee has
