(photo by Lauren Bamford) The first mp3 from Love of Diagrams is up now and available for your listening pleasure at the following link. The track on offer is called "No Way Out," and comes from the Love of Diagrams EP out January 30th.  It may sound familiar, not just because it's a song so good that it's amazing no one wrote it before, but because it was featured in the late (as in cancelled) prime-time soap opera, "The OC."

…and here's the video:

We'll have U.S. dates to announce very shortly.

Kudos to you Matadudes (and Matadudettes) on our last 3 signings: Love of Diagrams, the Ponys and Times New Viking. All quite excellent and all give me hope for the future of rock.

Any chance we can get a full track list on the Love of Diagrams EP? Will it just issue Aussie-only tracks domestically or will it include new cuts, either from the forthcoming full length or exclusive to this release?

    Here’s the tracklisting:

    “Pace or the Patience”
    “The Pyramid”
    “Cool” (Live)*
    “No Way Out”

*this is a cover of Athens, GA’s most-excellent Pylon, one of the best bands that ever existed (if you ask me).
