Simon Cowell recently opined that he didn't get Bob Dylan. Clearly, he's not heard full justice done to the great man's music and lyrics.  (thanks to Lyle Hysen for the link))

    i just smashed my mangled thumb in the bedroom door. you know, on the hinge side, that little crack between the door and the jamb. i put it in there and just slammed the door shut three or four times to try to make myself believe i never saw that.
