Nothing in the last week has hit me as hard as this. Someone who cared as much about doing things the way he wanted to do them should not be deprived of the time to do them. When so many of us can’t fucking do shit, why is it that people like Jay don’t get to do more? Thanks Oblivians, thanks Goner, thanks Matador, but fuck. It wasn’t enough. Thanks Jay. You did it all yourself, really.

this is a great documentary, every fan of jay should watch, some of it now seems like eerie premonitions, i dont know if the filmmakers have any outtakes but id love to see more of the interviews with jay and look at his life
