On Tuesday, March 9 — the official day of release for the new LP/CD/digital album The Brutalist Bricks — Ted Leo & The Pharmacists will be playing a handful of songs, new and old at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory. After a brief intermission, the quartet will return to the stage to provide musical accompaniment for an evening of karaoke. A list of available songs will be posted at the door, as well as in advance at the new look Ted Leo.com. Might this be a rare opportunity to see Chris Lombardi performing his award-winning version of “The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald”? Probably not, but if spreading such information guarantees greater press coverage and/or a line around the block, well, we’ll do whatever it takes..
Tickets are available here.
