Fucked Up live from Brooklyn – Ray Concepcion; FACT Mag mixtape
February 26th, 2010 at 11:25 am by GabeLast Friday night, some of us were lucky enough to catch Fucked Up perform a set that – even by the band’s lofty standard – was really one for the ages.
Luckily for those unable to attend, New York videographer Ray Concepcion ably captured the first couple of songs from the set. If you haven’t already, be sure to pick up Fucked Up’s Couple Tracks: Singles 2002-2009 and The Chemistry of Common Life (from which the below tunes originate):

Also, FACT Mag has just published a mixtape by Mr. Jo of FU.
Finally, the first non-Matador employee to respond to this post correctly identifying the up-and-coming New York bedroom-pop wizard rocking the Fucked Up t-shirt on Looking For Gold wins a prize.

I’ve seen the band 4 times. This was the first in a proper club setting. It was every bit as awesome as I’d hoped.
