Double bills featuring two generation-defining acts don’t come along that often and when they do, you can’t risk missing such an occasion for fear of being labeled a cultural cretin. But enough about the Eddie Money/Lou Gramm cruise to the Bahamas, The New Pornographers and Ted Leo & The Pharmacists are playing NYC’s Terminal 5 on Monday, December 6. Are the rumors of a Pharmacists release without Ted Leo true? Some guy at walmart, who smelled like a combination of jim beam and bologna, told me this. He claimed to know Gerald, too.

Can I just chime in here and say that I’d buy that album, and that maybe me and \Gerald\ need to have some deep closed door meetings to try and make it happen?
