Hey all, there's been a little confusion concerning CORNELIUS, the man now gracing the front page of our web site and CORNELIUS, a New York-area band. If you see this man (and if you're in the U.S., you won't....not until June at least), he's the author of Fantasma.

Cornelius de la Tokyo

* Small-framed, Japanese man
* Has never played Brownie's
* A smart dresser

Also new: a Bassholes bio for their upcoming Long Way Blues 1996-1998 CD/LP. Yep.

Got some new stuff: the second part of the Fuck tour diary, courtesy of the monkey. The tour in question was from last August or so, not to be confused with their current tour (even puppet journalists need a little lead time). Lyrics to the new Solex record (ie Solex vs. the Hitmeister) are up. don’t miss! Also added a few links to the band pages: Dave’s Tommy Keene Page, the Official Sportsguitar Site, and some others I can’t remember right now.

Matt Sweeney: raised by goats? NOT! This just in for those who keep asking what’s up with CHAVEZ: Matt Sweeney is in a New Republic commercial... READING! (he must have gone commie or something) I saw it myself on 12:30 am television the other night.

I guess most of you all know Belle and Sebastian has signed to Matador. If You’re Feeling Sinister, which was originally put out in the U.S. by Enslave, is their first Matador release. It’s in stores now but in the old packaging. Don’t be fooled. Just thought you should know.

Chavez: very much alive
