Followup
to the Mr. Foster 7" on Matador, which was the new vinyl
since 1984's Deadbeats LP from these San Francisco fake goth
pioneers (sadly, the 7" is out-of-print).
Very powerful and moving, Perry Farrell just phoned
and offered to retire if we'd turn this off.
Featuring past or present (or future) members of American
Music Club and Negative Trend.
Mark Eitzel, considered to have a pretty expressive
voice, handles the lead vocals.
The cover glorifies and romanticizes alcohol, crap games,
death, and women.
